OPI's Infinite Shine 1 primer is a professional formula designed to prep the nail and maximize the wear of the Infinite Shine system, locking in color for up to 11 days without chipping.

  • Pre-cured gel primer that creates an optimal adhesion base for Infinite Shine 2 color, significantly extending wear
  • Protects the natural nail from staining while improving the coverage and depth of the color applied over it
  • Compatible with the entire Infinite Shine system for gel-like wear without a UV lamp or professional equipment
  • Simple application with the OPI Pro-Wide brush for even coverage in a single pass, even on wide nails

  1. Prep clean, dry nails: push back cuticles, file and gently buff. After using remover, clean nails with alcohol.
  2. Apply a coat of Infinite Shine 1 primer to each nail, covering the free edge well. Let dry for 1 to 2 minutes.
  3. Apply two thin coats of Infinite Shine 2 polish (color), letting dry for 1 to 2 minutes between coats.
  4. Finish with a coat of Infinite Shine gloss (top coat). Dry in natural light to activate maximum shine — make sure all nails, including thumbs, get plenty of light.

Do I have to use Infinite Shine 1 together with the other Infinite Shine products?

For best results (up to 11 days of wear), OPI recommends using the complete 3-step system: Infinite Shine 1 (base), Infinite Shine 2 (color) and Infinite Shine (top coat). However, Infinite Shine 1 can also be used with other polishes as a protective base.

How do I remove Infinite Shine?

Infinite Shine removes easily with an acetone-based remover, with no need for extended soaking. No special tools are required, unlike true gels cured under a UV lamp.

Does this product need a UV lamp to cure?

No. Infinite Shine 1 uses OPI's pre-cured gel technology, which works in natural light — no UV or LED lamp is needed.
