Since 1961
Over 60 years of bringing professional beauty to the Laurentians.
The story of Gisèle Produits de Beauté began in 1961 in Saint-Jérôme with Georges and Gisèle Labelle.
At the time, the family operated two neighbouring stores: Gisèle Produits de Beauté, named after Gisèle, and La Boutique du Cadeau, which carried everything from lamps and jewellery to gifts and accessories.
Already well established in the Laurentians, Gisèle continued to grow over the years, building its expertise in professional beauty.
A Family Story
The next chapter remained in the family. Georges and Gisèle's three daughters took over the business and continued what their parents had built for many years.
Over the decades, Gisèle evolved alongside the beauty industry. New brands emerged, technology changed and the product selection expanded, but personalized service and expert advice remained at the heart of the business.
One Storefront, Many Eras
A New Generation
In 2021, Jessica Roy took over Gisèle Produits de Beauté, beginning a new chapter in the company's story.
Still very traditional in many aspects of its operations, the business began a major transformation. Jessica gradually modernized and digitized its operations, bringing Gisèle into a new era.
Under her leadership, Gisèle also made its real entry into e-commerce with the launch of its online store, allowing customers across Canada to shop Gisèle's products for the first time.
This transition marked an important turning point: after decades as a well-known local business in the Laurentians, Gisèle could now serve customers both in-store and online.
Gisèle Reinvented
Five years later, the evolution continues. In 2026, Gisèle reached another major milestone with its move to 436 Rue Labelle in Saint-Jérôme and the launch of a completely redesigned online store, created to offer a more modern, simple and enjoyable shopping experience.
Both the new store and the new website reflect how far Gisèle has come since 1961: a business that has never stopped evolving while staying true to its identity and close to its customers.
More than 60 years after it all began, Gisèle continues to write its story — with new technology, new ways to shop and a more modern business than ever before.
