Sensi-Tak Adhesive Tape by Walker Tape is a professional formula designed to provide secure, long-lasting hold for polyurethane hair systems, for people experiencing hair loss who need protection suited to sensitive scalps.

  • Rigid liner that makes precise positioning easier during application
  • High-gloss finish, ideal for polyurethane systems
  • Keeps for up to one year in a cool, dry place away from light

Preparing for Installation

  1. Clean the hair system and bio hair with Bond Breaker Shampoo and let dry.
  2. Apply 99% alcohol to the scalp and the base of the system to prepare for optimal adhesion. Let it evaporate completely.
  3. Apply Max Hold Sport or Scalp Protector to the scalp to boost the tape's adhesive strength and protect against skin irritation.

Application (Rolls)

  1. Peel the adhesive tape off the roll and cut it to the desired length.
  2. Place the adhesive side facing the hair system. Avoid touching the adhesive.
  3. Place the piece of tape in the desired spot on the hair system. Repeat as needed.
  4. When you're ready to apply to the scalp, peel off the remaining white liner pieces. For easier application, spray Just-Rite positioning spray on the adhesive area.
  5. Firmly press the hair system onto the scalp for at least 10 seconds.

Application (Contours)

  1. Peel off the liner that's notched in the middle.
  2. Place the adhesive side facing the hair system. Avoid touching the adhesive.
  3. Place the tape contour in the desired spot on the hair system. Repeat as needed.
  4. When you're ready to apply to the scalp, peel off the remaining printed liner pieces. For easier application, spray Just-Rite positioning spray on the adhesive area.
  5. Firmly press the hair system onto the scalp, taking care not to shift it during the process.

We recommend doing a sensitivity test before use.

Is Sensi-Tak glossy?

Yes! Sensi-Tak is designed with a high-gloss finish, making it ideal for polyurethane hair systems.

What's the difference between Sensi-Tak and Sensi-Tak Select?

Sensi-Tak Select is a hypoallergenic version of Sensi-Tak. It offers a similar wear time and clean removal but is gentler on sensitive skin, making it better suited for clients with allergy concerns.

How long does Sensi-Tak last?

Sensi-Tak is designed for a long-lasting hold of 1 to 10 days.
