Walker Tape's German Brown Tape is a professional-grade adhesive designed to provide the firmest hold in the line for poly hair systems, ideal for people experiencing hair loss who need protection suited to a sensitive scalp.

  • Firm hold lasting 1 to 2 weeks, designed for hard-bond adhesives
  • Skin-safe (contains latex) with low residue for safe removal
  • Semi-matte finish and 15.5 mil thickness for a rigid, durable base
  • Prevents bond failure for reliable, everyday hold

Preparing for Application

  1. Clean the hair system and natural hair with Bond Breaker shampoo and let dry.
  2. Apply 99% alcohol to the scalp and the base of the system to prepare for optimal adhesion. Let evaporate completely.
  3. Apply Max Hold Sport or Scalp Protector to the scalp to improve the tape's bonding strength and protect against skin irritation.

Application (Rolls)

  1. Peel the adhesive tape from the roll and cut to the desired length.
  2. Place the adhesive side toward the hair system. Avoid touching the adhesive.
  3. Place the piece of tape in the desired spot on the hair system. Repeat as needed.
  4. When ready to apply to the scalp, peel off the remaining white liner pieces. For easier application, spray Just-Rite positioning spray on the adhesive area.
  5. Press the hair system firmly onto the scalp for at least 10 seconds.

We recommend performing a sensitivity test before use. This product contains latex.

Can I use German Brown without a hard-bond adhesive?

Yes! German Brown can be used for a standard installation, even without hard-bond adhesives.

Which systems are compatible with German Brown tape?

German Brown is primarily designed for poly (polyurethane) systems, thanks to its semi-matte finish and firm hold.

Does German Brown contain latex?

Yes, German Brown contains latex. People with latex allergies or sensitivities should not use this tape.
