Walker Tape's Base Tape is a professional product designed to repair and reinforce fragile hair systems, for people experiencing hair loss and seeking protection suited to a sensitive scalp.

  • Temporarily repairs tears and small holes in the system's base
  • Creates a reinforcing layer under double-sided tapes to extend the system's lifespan
  • Semi-flexible and easy to cut by hand, with a matte finish
  • Ideal for prepping delicate bases, such as lace, to receive a stronger adhesive

*Suitable for all hair types.

Repairing a damaged system

  1. Cut a piece of Base Tape from the roll to the size needed.
  2. Make sure the system is clean and dry.
  3. Place the tape inside the hair system, over the damaged area.
  4. Finish the rest of the installation as usual.

Prepping a delicate system for stronger adhesives

  1. Cut as many pieces of Base Tape as needed for the installation.
  2. Make sure the system is clean and dry.
  3. Place the Base Tape inside the system, in the areas where you want to apply a stronger tape. This allows you to use a strong adhesive (e.g., Ultra Hold) on a delicate base such as lace.
  4. Finish the rest of the installation as usual.
