Ongles d'Or®'s silk wrap roll in dispenser box is a 3 cm x 1 m silk strip that's essential for quickly repairing a broken or cracked nail and reinforcing natural nails — a delicate weave for optimal adhesion and a virtually invisible result once covered with gel or polish.

  • Pro tip: use Ongles d'Or® clear sealing resin as the first coat on the silk for an even more durable result, thanks to its liquid viscosity that perfectly fills the silk's mesh holes
  • Store in an airtight container away from moisture and dust to preserve its texture and effectiveness
  1. Cut the silk strip to the desired size (generally the width of the nail).
  2. Apply a very thin layer of resin to the clean, dehydrated nail.
  3. Place the silk strip over the area to be reinforced or repaired.
  4. Apply a coat of clear sealing resin or dip resin to fix the silk in place, then cure with the brush-on or spray activator.
  5. If needed, apply a second coat of resin.
  6. File the edge of the nail and the repaired surface, then run a buffing block over the top of the nail to smooth it.
  7. Then apply the desired polish or finish.
