  1. Disinfect and sterilize the tip cutter before each use.
  2. Place the artificial nail (tip or enhancement) in the half-moon section of the tool.
  3. Close with a firm, even motion to cut the enhancement to the desired length.
  4. Check that the edges are smooth and free of chips; file as needed.
  5. Rinse thoroughly after use and remove any trace of chemical product.
  6. Lubricate the tool after sterilization to prevent corrosion and extend its lifespan.

Can this tool be autoclave sterilized? Yes, MBI instruments are made of hot-forged surgical-grade stainless steel, compatible with chemical and autoclave sterilization. How do I maintain my MBI instrument? After each sterilization, rinse thoroughly to remove any trace of chemical product, especially at the joints and screws. Then lubricate the tool and store it separately to prevent damage. Can I use this instrument at home?
