The Free Play tourmaline and ceramic curling iron 1-1/4 in. by Avanti is a professional tool designed to create voluminous curls, soft waves, and defined waves with remarkable shine.

  • 1-1/4 in. Tourmaline and Ceramic barrel that creates wide curls, glamorous waves, and natural waves in seconds
  • Tourmaline-Ceramic technology that generates negative ions to reduce frizz and deliver intense shine to every curl created
  • Ultra-smooth ceramic surface that glides perfectly over the hair without snagging or pulling for gentle, damage-free curling
  • Ideal for all hair types: creates long-lasting, bouncy curls on naturally curly or straight hair

*Suitable for all hair types

  1. Plug in the curling iron and select the appropriate temperature for your hair type (130–210°C).
  2. Let it heat up completely (about 30 seconds).
  3. Divide clean, dry hair into 2.5 to 5 cm sections.
  4. Wrap a strand around the 1-1/4" barrel, starting from the root toward the ends, and hold for 5 to 10 seconds.
  5. Gently release the curl and repeat on all sections.
  6. Finish with a finishing product if desired to extend hold.
  7. Turn off the appliance after use.
