  1. Plug in the flat iron and set the temperature based on your hair type.
  2. Let it heat up fully.
  3. Section clean, dry hair into 1 to 2-inch (2.5 to 5 cm) subsections.
  4. Glide the tourmaline and ceramic plates from root to ends in one smooth motion.
  5. Repeat on all sections.
  6. Turn off the device and let it cool before storing.
