  1. Apply a heat protectant to dry hair.
  2. Divide hair into sections using a clip.
  3. Plug in the appliance and set the temperature according to hair type (130°C for fine hair, up to 230°C for thick hair).
  4. Let it heat up fully.
  5. Slide the iron along the section from top to end in one smooth, steady motion.
  6. For curls or waves, rotate the iron inward or outward as you move down.
  7. Repeat throughout the hair.
  8. Let cool before touching or styling hair.
