  1. Start on clean, completely dry hair.
  2. Plug in the infrared iron and let it heat to the chosen temperature.
  3. Divide hair into 2 to 5 cm sections.
  4. Wrap the strand around the barrel starting at the root or mid-length depending on the desired effect.
  5. Hold for 5 to 8 seconds, then release to reveal the curl.
  6. Do not comb immediately; let the curls cool before defining them with your fingers.
