The EZ LV TH EZ Scissor® thinning shears are lightweight, easy-to-handle 5.5-inch thinning shears — they lighten lengths, create movement, and blend cuts for a natural, controlled result.

  • Lightens lengths — effectively reduces volume for lighter, more fluid hair
  • Creates movement and blends cuts — ideal for natural finishes and smooth, imperceptible transitions
  1. Make sure the thinning shears are clean and lightly oiled before use.
  2. Hold the shears by inserting your thumb into the bottom ring and your ring finger into the top ring.
  3. Comb the section of hair to be thinned and hold it firmly.
  4. Make cuts by gently sliding the blades along the section, at mid-length or on the ends.
  5. Repeat as needed for the desired result, avoiding cutting the same spot more than twice.
  6. After use, wipe the blades, apply oil, and store in the provided case.
